My Commitment
Owning a pet is a blessing and a joy, but it is also a responsibility and a commitment. Please do some research, reach out to as many people as you can (friends, breeders, veterinarians, etc.) and ask lots of questions and educate yourself before deciding to purchase or acquire any animal.
Deciding to buy a puppy is a big decision--and a very personal one. It is crucial to pick a breed/puppy that's a good match for your own personality and life-style ~ this will help you and your new puppy forge a lasting bond and ensure that you enjoy each-other's company rather than being a cause of stress to one another. I encourage anyone buying a puppy to take their time, do some research, ask a million-and-one questions, and be very confident in and comfortable with the breeder you're considering buying from. I don't believe in pressuring anyone to buy anything--especially something as important and potentially life-changing as a new pet. Please feel free to email, call or (if you're local) come by and meet me and my dogs. If you decide to buy a puppy from me--GREAT! If you decide not to buy a puppy from me--no worries! I appreciate your interest and am happy to spend the time helping you decide, either way.
I am committed to every single puppy from the moment I decide to breed one of my girls, and that commitment spans the lifetime of each puppy. My commitment and support follows each puppy to whomever's arms he snuggles into once he leaves mine. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or need any advice, I will assist you in any way I possibly can...whether you have a potty-training question, want to know how to understand the jargon on dog food labels, or just want to chat about schnauzers or dogs in general, I am just a phone call or an e-mail away.
There are no Fleur De Lis puppies available at this time.

Breeder reserves the right of refusal of sale of any puppy to any person(s) for any reason.
PLEASE NOTE: It is impossible to accurately predict the exact size any puppy will be at maturity. Initial estimates are based on the size of the parents and their previous litters (if applicable). Better/more accurate size estimates can be made after the puppy is 8 weeks old. Therefore, prices are subject to fluctuate or change as puppies get older. However, there will not be any price increase on a puppy once a deposit has been placed on him/her. * * * * * Please pardon me if the following statements seem pretentious or overbearing--that is certainly not my intention--however, I am fed up with some toy schnauzer breeders who are consistently misleading buyers regarding the size at which a puppy will finish. Regardless of whether such repetitive size-prediction inaccuracies are purposeful or accidental, it is the buyer who bears the brunt of the consequences. It is the breeder's responsibility to be as accurate and consistent as possible. I have decided to include the following information any time anyone inquires about a puppy's weight in hope of educating those who may be unaware: Final/adult size estimations based on a puppy's weight prior to the puppy being fully weaned for several weeks (8 weeks old at the absolute earliest), are premature and very often inaccurate because there is too much fluctuation in a puppy's rate of growth prior to weaning and during the weaning process. Additionally, the unfounded practice of using a breed-specific weight chart, or "charting", to determine a puppy's weight does not lend any countenance to premature size estimates--on the contrary, premature size estimations based on "charting" are often grossly inaccurate. |
